Hello all ECDLA players. We have heard you and agree that we dropped the ball on the notifications out to the members to let you all know about the registration date and captains meeting. We are extending the registration out until Saturday August 29 at midnight. There will be no exceptions after this as we need time to place everyone in the proper divisons as well as set the schedule out for the venues. Please email your registration form and fee's ($60 per person) to ECDLA1958@outlook.com

Quick recap for captains meeting is as follows:

1) We are going to be looking to set up either 4 or 5 divisons depending on the final numbers that we receive. The following venues are as follows: Jasper Place Legion, Kingsway Legion, Strathcona Legion, Opus pub and Rendezvous Pub. 

2) Spares need to be reported to Zach and Lisa so we can keep track of stats and spare fees. Spare fee's are still $5 per person, per night for those that are not a registered member of the leauge. If they are a registered member of the laeague (or was registered last year), players can only spare down 1 divison of the last divison they were in or are a part of. Payers can spare up as many divisions as you would like. Two ways to pay spare fee's are emailing ECDLA1958@outlook.com with your fee's (minimum of $10 for etrasfers, so would need 2 weeks / players of spares). The other way would be to pay it all at the AGM meeting with us sending a reminder email the week before

3) Tablet care, please treat them as if they are your own personal ones. We will need help with everyone saving matches, logging out at the end of the night and shutting the tablets off. We are going to request that the venues only plug them in a day before so the batteries can be saved. If anything happens to them during play, please let us know ASAP so we can get it swapped out or fixed.

4) Coin toss at the start of the night. Whoever wins the coin toss will start the team games, no bull off. Winning team of the coin toss will have choice of bull when it comes to all doubles games. Singles games requires a coin toss for choice of bull before every set. Any questions please ask.

Special note: There are 2 players that we have looking for a third player to make a team. If you are interested please advise us ASAP and we will look to match you up.
